名古屋のパワースポット、熱田神宮。
三種の神器の一つである、草薙剣(くさなぎのつるぎ)を祀る神社として知られ、名古屋の観光スポットの一つでもあります。
そんな熱田神宮のすぐ目の前にある、きよめ餅総本舗の「きよめ餅」をご紹介したいと思います。
こちら、丁寧に炊き上げたこしあんを柔らかい羽二重餅でくるんだお菓子で、美味しい小豆の味が感じられる、すっきりとした甘さが印象的な餅菓子でした。
が、何よりもお餅が非常に柔らかく薄めのお餅なので、何個でも食べたくなっちゃう軽さが人気の秘密なのではないかと思います。
熱田神宮に訪れた際には是非セットで行ってみてほしいお店です。

【Kiyome Mochi Souhonke: Kiyome Mochi】
Atsuta Jingu Shrine, a sacred place in Nagoya.
Known as the place Kusanagi sword is enshrined, which is one of the three sacred treasures, also a famous site for tourists in Nagoya.
“Kiyome Mochi” is a product of Kiyome Mochi Souhonke located right in front of Atsuta Jingu Shrine.
Sweet bean paste is gently cooked and wrapped in soft Habutae mochi. Taste of good red beans is sweet but refreshing.
It is light enough to eat as many as you like. The secret is that Mochi the rice cake is very soft and thin.
If you have plan to visit Atsuta Jingu Shrine, you should add this place on your list!
